Early Years – I Play I Learn Curriculum
A curriculum that works as QUALIFICATION.
Scientific studies have proven that 90% of the brain develops in the first 5 years of life. This is the most crucial period which becomes a reference for all future behaviour experiences and personality development. The more variety they get, the better they learn.
Our school curriculum draws on a scientific understanding of PLAY. KIDS that play together, stay together. We create a learning environment that encourages children to explore, solve problems, create and construct. Play way methods are used to develop confidence, verbal ability, social and motor skills.
Our youngest toddlers listen to music, dance, play with building materials, splash with colours and paints, listen to stories and imaginative rhymes.
Each teacher has the support of classroom assistants which enables every child to feel valued and receive maximum individual support and guidance.
We believe that family is the best teacher for any child. Depending on the age group, active parental involvement is also interwoven into the curriculum.
Primary Years – Multi-dimensional Curriculum
Where arguments on theories do not end in the classroom.
A thorough research has been conducted on how children develop and learn, what is the right age to introduce certain concepts, development patterns are studied and the curriculum is planned accordingly.
No textbooks are followed. To explain and reinforce concepts, children work on innovative activity sheets designed and printed by our R & D department.
Particular emphasis is laid on development of basic life skills, problem solving, crisis management, negotiating and winning, time management and self-control.
Learning through exhibitions, cinema, theatre, environmental workshops and informal learning activities, form an important part of the educational process.
Finesse classes on total personality development, social etiquette, confidence building, art of dressing, accent training, understanding family values and discipline, when and how to say ‘NO’ etc. are conducted on a regular basis.
Our highly qualified and trained faculty, not only implement the curriculum but also engender an enthusiasm for learning, questioning and critical disposition.
